Overview
Well-Paced Publisher is a private internal software tool used to upload, manage, and schedule original video content on YouTube channels operated by its owner.
Well-Paced Publisher is not offered as a public service and is not available for use by the general public.
Well-Paced Publisher uses YouTube API Services and Google OAuth to connect authorized YouTube channels and perform publishing functions on behalf of the authorized channel owner.
Information Accessed
When an authorized Google account is connected to Well-Paced Publisher, the application may access limited information through the YouTube Data API, including:
- YouTube channel identification information, such as channel name and channel ID;
- information about videos uploaded through the application;
- video metadata, such as titles, descriptions, categories, privacy status, audience settings, processing status, and scheduled publication times; and
- information necessary to confirm that publishing actions were performed on the intended YouTube channel.
Well-Paced Publisher does not request, collect, or store Google or YouTube account passwords.
How Information Is Used
Information obtained through YouTube API Services is used only to provide the application’s internal video-publishing functionality.
This includes:
- verifying the identity of an authorized YouTube channel;
- uploading original video content;
- uploading custom video thumbnails;
- setting video titles, descriptions, categories, audience settings, and privacy settings;
- scheduling videos for publication; and
- confirming the status and results of publishing actions.
YouTube API data is not used for advertising, profiling, surveillance, or the creation of marketing audiences.
Google OAuth Authorization
Well-Paced Publisher uses Google OAuth 2.0 to obtain authorization to interact with YouTube channels.
OAuth authorization tokens may be stored securely on the local computer running Well-Paced Publisher so that the application can remain authorized without requiring the user to sign in for every publishing operation.
These tokens are used solely to provide the authorized YouTube publishing functionality described in this policy.
Data Sharing
Well-Paced Publisher does not sell YouTube API data or personal information.
Information obtained through YouTube API Services is not provided to advertisers or data brokers.
Because the application is an internal tool, authorized information is used only by the application owner and systems or agents acting on the owner’s behalf as necessary to operate the application.
Information may also be transmitted to Google and YouTube as necessary to perform actions through YouTube API Services.
Data Storage and Retention
Well-Paced Publisher may locally store authorization tokens and limited information necessary to operate the application, maintain upload records, prevent accidental duplicate uploads, and verify publishing operations.
YouTube API data is retained only for as long as necessary for the authorized purposes described in this policy and is refreshed or deleted as required by the YouTube API Services policies.
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect locally stored authorization credentials and data against unauthorized access.
Revoking Access
Users can revoke Well-Paced Publisher’s access to their Google account through Google’s account security settings:

Revoking access prevents Well-Paced Publisher from making future authorized YouTube API requests using that authorization.
Users may also request deletion of locally stored authorization tokens and associated authorized data by contacting the application owner using the contact information below.
Upon revocation or a valid deletion request, applicable stored authorized data will be deleted as required by the YouTube API Services policies.
Deleting information stored by Well-Paced Publisher does not delete videos or other information stored by YouTube. YouTube content must be managed separately through YouTube or another authorized application.

Well-Paced Publisher uses YouTube API Services. Use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service:

Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if Well-Paced Publisher’s functionality or data practices change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
